Refund policy

At Rocket City Toys, we want every purchase to be a great experience. Please review our policy below to understand how we handle returns, refunds, and store credit.


General Return Policy

  • Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery for most new, unopened items.
  • To qualify for a return, items must be in their original, sealed packaging and in the same condition as received.
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the return is due to a Rocket City Toys error or a damaged item.
  • Refunds may be issued to your original payment method or as store credit, depending on the situation.

Non-returnable items include:

  • Opened trading card packs, boxes, and blind boxes
  • Clearance or final sale items
  • Custom or special-order products
  • Digital gift cards

Defective or Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective:

  • Email info@rocketcitytoys.com within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Include your order number and photos of the item and packaging.
    We’ll review your case and arrange a replacement, store credit, or refund as appropriate.

Purchase Limits & Partial Refunds

To ensure fair access to limited releases, certain items (like Pokémon or One Piece products) have per-customer purchase limits.
If your order exceeds the limit:

  • We will reduce the quantity to the posted limit, and
  • Refund the difference — typically as store credit — before shipping.

Repeated attempts to bypass limits (multiple orders, accounts, or addresses) may result in order cancellation or account suspension.


Store Credit

Store credit is issued electronically and can be applied toward any future purchase.

  • Credit appears in your account at rocketcitytoys.com/account and automatically shows at checkout.
  • Store credit is non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be used to purchase gift cards.
  • Store credit does not expire.
  • During an active payment dispute or chargeback, credit tied to that order may be temporarily paused to prevent double reimbursement. Once the case is resolved in our favor, the credit will be reinstated.

Refund Method

Refunds are typically issued to the original payment method used at checkout.

  • Depending on your bank, refunds may take 3–10 business days to appear.
  • If a partial refund is issued as store credit, you’ll receive an email confirmation when the credit is added to your account.
  • Refunds processed through third-party marketplaces (e.g., eBay, Target+, or Walmart) follow their platform’s specific refund timelines.

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

If a chargeback is filed after items have shipped or after a refund/store credit has been issued, Rocket City Toys will provide the card issuer with:

  • Proof of delivery,
  • Refund/store-credit records, and
  • Product-limit documentation.

Store credit related to an order under dispute may be temporarily disabled during the review. Duplicate or fraudulent chargebacks may result in account suspension.


How to Request a Return

  • Email info@rocketcitytoys.com with your order number and reason for return.
  • We’ll provide a Return Authorization (RA) number and shipping instructions.
  • Once received and inspected, we’ll issue your refund or store credit within 3 business days.
